Our services include providing gravel, sand, and stone delivery, excavation work, septic system installation, and custom crushing throughout Cheshire County and surrounding areas.

Jay got his start as a teenager, working alongside his father and learning early on that doing things right the first time matters. That mindset still drives everything we do today — quality work isn’t optional, it’s the standard.

Over the years, Jay built a strong reputation in paving and excavation. One thing he learned early — and still stands by — is that a good paving job starts with solid groundwork. That foundation led to a natural shift toward excavation and site work.

As the business grew, so did the need for reliable, high-quality materials. That led to the next chapter of J Roy Excavating — operating gravel pits and supplying sand, gravel, and stone products directly to homeowners, contractors, and municipalities.

Today, Jay and Becky work together to provide straightforward, reliable service across a range of projects — from small deliveries to full site work and septic system installation. As a New Hampshire licensed septic installer, we handle installations, repairs, and replacements with a focus on doing the job right.

We also offer on-site custom crushing and screening, helping fill a gap for contractors and towns who need smaller crushing jobs completed efficiently.

At the end of the day, our goal is simple: show up, do the work right, and make the process easy.
